ED CARPENTER, No. 20 SONAX Chevrolet: “Thursday is in the book! I wouldn’t say I am quite as happy as I was yesterday, but it was an educational day. Highest the track team has been and highest the ambient has been. We kind of chased the car a little bit in race running, but in the end I liked where we got it. Had a really nice long run to finish off the day, I feel a lot better about that than I did in the middle of the day. We also got a couple of qual sims under our belt and I feel good with the balance of those. I am looking forward to going fast the next couple of days and hopefully put the No. 20 SONAX Chevrolet towards the front. Hopefully we’ll have Fast Nine speed, we’ll see what happens!”
RINUS VEEKAY, No. 21 Bitcoin Chevrolet: “We had a good third day of Indianapolis 500 practice! The Bitcoin car feels really good in qualifying trim and we dialed in the balance. It also felt really good in race trim, we tried some really good things. I think we have a competitive car!”
CONOR DALY, No. 47 U.S. Air Force Chevrolet: “Today was another good day for us. We made a lot of progress in the heat. It started little bit rough as we knew it would, the high temperatures change conditions a lot. We’re happy with the speed what we found by ourselves and also in traffic. We are strong but tomorrow is a whole new day. We’ll see what happens when they turn up the boost!”
