ED CARPENTER, No. 20 SONAX Chevrolet: “Another Fast Friday in the books. It was a tough one out there today! I saw a lot of people struggling. We struggled ourselves with the balance a little bit, but we finally got the No. 20 SONAX Chevrolet where it needed to be. It’s going to be tight for that Fast 9 tomorrow, but I think we will have something for them!”
RINUS VEEKAY, No. 21 Bitcoin Chevrolet: “Very good Fast Friday! Only did two runs and the car felt great in the first one! The second was in the heat of the day and we were really fast, but didn’t get to complete it because of the traffic. I’m feeling very happy and I think we have a great car. We are going to go for the Fast 9!”
CONOR DALY, No. 47 U.S. Air Force Chevrolet: “Very different day for us today, very different from practice. We went through a lot of things to help me feel more comfortable with the car. I felt much better towards the end of the day, which was nice. Our racecar is on a totally different level and feels fantastic. Qualifying, right now, is definitely going to be tough for me but we made the right decisions on the direction we want to go. We’ll see what happens tomorrow!”
